About Me
Hello I am a fun loving person who loves all animal. I love dogs, cats and birds. I have owned 1 dog named honeybunn, which was a childhood dog and best friend. Then I have owned 5 cats kitty was a family kitty I found as a kitten and she was a family pet till she passed on. I got precious when i was 19 and had her till 2006, then I had ali when he was kitten, Demi was a stray cat that i adopted and she was pretty wild and not socialable, but she became the most loving cat. Mickey was a kitten when I got him he had an extra paw pad on all his paws and was siamse. I have two birds at this time a cockatiel named Petre who sits on my finger when ever i want. a parkeet who i got as a baby of three months and is blue and his name is Twinkle. well thats all the animals I have owned and do own. |

About Me
Quite a few years ago, my husband and I had 3 awesome dogs - they got along with each other:) and we too had quite the "connection" with these sweeties. They had a big backyard lawn - fenced for them to play and sleep in the day. And of course they slept indoors. Oh they were spoiled by my husband & I! Our oldest dog, a Great Pyrenees named Bubba, our middle dog named Molly, who was a Pyrenees/Chow mix, and our youngest one (pictured) was also a Great Pyrenees. His name was Rocky. Sadly, we recently had to have him put down (he was 11 1/2 YO). But I look forward to the experince of volunteering at Second Chance to "carry on" with showing my compassion towards the wonderful canine. |

About Me
I work at an animal hospital in Colorado Springs. I have two cats, Sydney and Flicka and a Rhodesian/Pit mix named Lorelai. I recently...very recently, visited Northern Arizona for the first time. What a beautiful, breathtaking place...aside from the dogs I saw wandering the reservation lands. My life has been about caring for animals, particularly those in need. If there were ever animals in need of help, it is those dogs. I am working on a project to raise funds for these dogs and to hopefully return soon to help in whatever way I can. |

Hello there. I absolutely love animals. Dogs, cats, horses; although I only have dogs, cats and turtles. In the wild; I love wolves, coyotes, foxes, mountain lions and bob cats. I've been an ICU nurse for about 25 years. I'm looking to change careers in the next 5-10 yrs. I'm interested in becoming a Vet Tech. I have recently begun volunteering at Second Chance and hope to learn all I can about animal medicine and getting an associate degree in Vet Teching. My animals are as follows: Sage, a deaf, blind Great Dane mix; Winter, an Australian Shepard mix; Sophia, a Boston Terrier; and Alice, a Rottweiler mix. Two cats, Lakota and Simon. And last but not the least 6 turtles all nicknamed Sam N Ella babies. |

About Me
I have been with SCCA since Nov. 3, 2004. I started in the clinic as a vet tech and then moved onto PMVC in 2005. While working on PMVC, I was made manager in 2006 and stayed with the mobile until 2008, when my daughter Emily was born. Since I was no longer able to travel, I took over in the Education dept becoming the Education Programs Coordinator. I have worked in Animal welfare off and on for 20 years.I became a CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) in 2007. I have been married for 25 years this July. I have a 19 year old son and a 1 year old granddaughter, an 18 year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter. I have 2 Lhasa Apsos, a Shiba Inu I adopted from SCCA and 2 cats; one of those from SCCA as well. |
